Here's another foreign movie everyone should check out. If you're a fan of Tony Jaa star of 'Ong Bak' and the 'Protector' you'll be a fan of 'Born To Fight' It's a remake of which I haven't seen the original, but the story is there are just a few similar stunts other than that they're pretty different. The original star of "Born To Fight' Panna Rittikrai stepped behind the camera this time to direct. It features many of the very dangerous stunts done without wires or cgi that made Tony Jaa a superstar. This film is more on the action genre than martial arts. You can see a few scenes that show just how dangerous filming was and scenes that were inches away from disaster. To sum up the story a group of superstar athletes travel to a poor village to help out the people, terrorists step in and take over the village and Dan Chupong as "Diew" leads the athletes in a fight to stop the terrorists. The starring athletes are real superstars in their sport many I believe olympians, they all use their special talents in fighting off the terrorists. The film has very raw, old school feel to it, like the action movies of the 80's done with much more talented and daring actors and stunt people. Awesome, awesome movie check it out!!!
